Lovende resultat for forbedret vannrensing av produsert vann
M Vest Water har i et samarbeid med Equinor Stureterminalen testet og videreutviklet teknologi for rensing av produsert vann. Samarbeidet er en viktig del i M Vest Water sin produktutvikling for å kunne tilby nye grønne nullutslipp-fremmende produkter til olje og gass industrien. Den første av to prosjektfaser er nå gjennomført med vannrensing ved bruk av M Vest Water sine produkter i en delstrøm på anlegget. Resultatene er analysert og verifisert av et akkreditert laboratorium. Partene konkluderer med at resultatene viser svært gode forbedringer av vannkvaliteten i renset vann med M Vest Water sine nyutviklede produkter.
I Q3 2021 iverksettes andre og siste prosjektfase hvor målsettingen er verifisering av stabil drift over tid, samt ytterligere optimalisering av vannkvaliteten i fullskala.

Promising result for improved water purification of produced water
In collaboration with Equinor Sture Terminal, M Vest Water has tested and further developed technology for purification of produced water. The collaboration is an important part of M Vest Water’s product development in order to be able to offer new green zero-emission-promoting products to the oil and gas industry. The first of two project phases has now been completed with water purification using M Vest Water’s products in a substream at the plant. The results have been analyzed and verified by an accredited laboratory. The parties conclude that the results show very good improvements in the water quality in purified water with M Vest Water’s newly developed products.
In Q3 2021, the second and final project phase will be implemented, where the goal is verification of stable operation over time, as well as further optimization of water quality in full scale.
The products that M Vest Water has developed are marketed for oil terminals and refineries globally.
