Tor Olav Gabrielsen
Executive Chairman / Chairman of the Board
Tor Olav Gabrielsen is the Chairman of M Vest Water. He holds a master’s degree in finance (Cand Merc.) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and has experience from the financial and shipping sector. He is an active investor and currently holds the position as Director in Teamco Group, a Swiss-based family office. Mr. Gabrielsen holds several board positions within the IT, shipping and building and construction sectors.
Susanne Møgster Sperrevik
Board Member
Susanne Møgster Sperrevik holds degrees in geology (Cand. Scient. and Dr. Scient.). She has authored a number of scientific publications and brings more than 25 years of experience from the oil and gas industry, including positions at Norsk Hydro, Statoil, and Rocksource. Sperrevik currently serves as COO of our sister company, M Vest Energy. She is also a board member of Norsk Kjernekraft AS and Glex AS, both of which are part of the M Vest group.
Rune Gaasø
Board Member
Rune Gaasø is a technology development strategist with international experience in the oil and gas industry, having held leadership roles at Odfjell Drilling, BP, and Equinor in operations management, R&D, strategic procurement, and business development. He has broad board experience from subsea hardware, logistics technology, seismic, and risk management. Over the past decade, he has co-founded several sustainability-focused companies and currently serves on 10 boards, chairing two of them.
Tove Ormevik
Board Member
Tove Ormevik holds an MSc in Marine Technology from NTNU and has completed executive management programs at MIT and BI Norwegian Business School. She brings extensive industry experience from leading roles at Odfjell Drilling, Equinor ASA, BP, SLB Capturi and Aker BP ASA. In addition, Ormevik has broad board experience from a range of companies and industry organizations, including Endúr ASA, ITM, Øygarden Næringsutvikling, and GCE Ocean Technology.
Atle Mundheim
Chief Technology Officer
Atle Mundheim is the Chief Technology Officer in M Vest Water. He is also the founder of Norwegian Water Technologies and inventor of M Vest Water’s proprietary technologies. He has a long professional career in the oil & gas industry, holding operational and senior management positions within drilling and subsea operations in the North Sea until 2000. Since then, Mr. Mundheim has developed and commercialized several water treatment technologies and startup companies and gained wide experience from international operations.
Morten Hilton Thomassen
Chief Financial Officer
Morten Hilton Thomassen has more than 20 years of experience from energy, insurance, consultancy and fishery industry. Prior to joining M Vest Water, he held several management positions including CFO in Bergen Energi and Norsildmel. Morten holds a Siviløkonom degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
Henrik Meland Madsen
Chief Operating Officer
Henrik Meland Madsen holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has extensive leadership experience from companies including Framo Engineering, Siemens, WellConnection Mongstad, and Pipeliner AS. Before joining M Vest Water, Henrik served as Vice President Hydrogen at Greenstat ASA.
Bernhard Niemczyk
Director of Operations Germany
Bernhard Niemczyk is Director of Operations in M Vest Water Gmbh, the German subsidiary of M Vest Water AS.
